The expected life of PPR pipes is usually about 50 years.
PPR pipes have good corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and pressure resistance. Under normal use conditions, that is, if the installation is correct, the water temperature and pressure used are within the allowable range, and there is no damage by external forces, PPR pipes can generally be used for 50 years.
However, the actual service life may be affected by many factors, such as installation quality, water quality, ambient temperature changes, whether it is hit by external forces, etc. If the installation is improper, problems such as water leakage may occur, thereby shortening the service life of the pipe; if the water quality is poor, it may cause corrosion to the inside of the pipe, which will also affect its life; if the ambient temperature changes greatly or the pipe is hit by external forces, it may also cause damage to the pipe, thereby affecting the service life.
